Description
Milligan Lawless is seeking a Litigation Associate with two to six years of experience to join its litigation
team.
This position offers the opportunity to take a hands-on role in a wide range of civil litigation and government
investigation matters within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. New associates will take an
active role in all facets of litigation, including:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs;
- Participating in depositions and hearings;
- Assisting with and conducting trial preparation, trial work, and administrative agency hearings;
- Developing and maintaining client relationships; and
- Analyzing complex legal and factual issues.
Qualifications include:
- Two to six years of litigation experience;
- Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and
colleagues. - Experience with False Claims Act and healthcare-related litigation is a plus.
Out-of-state applicants must be in good standing in the jurisdiction in which they are licensed and must
either be admitted to the Arizona Bar or actively pursuing Arizona admission at the time of hire.
