With a team of more than 14 dedicated attorneys, the firm delivers cost-effective, efficient solutions. PSE's rich history, deep knowledge of the region, and established relationships with past, present, and future community leaders make it a trusted partner for legal counsel. We work collaboratively to develop innovative strategies for short- and long-term success.
Role Description
PSE is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing Business practice. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience primarily handling a diverse range of corporate and commercial transactions, advisory matters, and business governance.
While the primary focus of this role is business and corporate law, a strong candidate will bring a multi-disciplinary approach. Experience or a strong interest in real estate transactions and local government/public sector law is highly desirable and will allow the associate to support our unique cross-functional client base.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, operating agreements, corporate governance documents, and buy/sell agreements. Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and business entity formations.
Assist clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing, zoning, land use, and property development matters.
Provide general counsel support to public sector entities, such as municipalities, or townships regarding administrative law, public records requests, open meetings (Sunshine Law), public bidding, and regulatory compliance.
Manage an independent caseload, interface directly with business owners and public officials, and provide proactive, strategic legal counsel.
We offer a supportive working environment, competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Interested candidates should submit their resume to David H. Montgomery at [email protected] and L. Michael Bly at [email protected] with “Business Associate Attorney Application” in the subject line.
