Goranson Bain Ausley was formed in 2018 by merging Goranson Bain and Ausley, Algert, Robertson & Flores, two of Texas’ most respected family law firms. The combined firm was built out of shared values: to place the client first, work for constructive resolutions to family law matters, and deliver exceptional value.

After honing his trial skills at a large Austin law firm, Thomas L. Ausley opened his own office in the late 1970s. He was quickly recognized as a leader among his peers for his honesty, integrity, and professionalism – the same strong values that laid the foundations for the firm of Ausley, Algert, Robertson & Flores.
Since the beginning, the Ausley firm was committed to these values and became one of the leading family law firms in Austin and the Central Texas area. The firm’s dedicated lawyers knew that people facing divorce or other family law issues can be overwhelmed by the legal, financial, and spiritual implications. And that family relationships continue long after matters have been resolved. This is why Goranson Bain Ausley is committed to delivering sound legal advice with compassion as we strive to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.

Goranson Bain was also one of the most experienced family law firms in Texas, having served clients for more than 30 years. Since its inception in 1987, the firm was committed to providing a constructive, strategic, and intelligent approach to family law – an approach that enables clients to pursue their most important goals while controlling costs and minimizing disruption to their lives.
Joining Strengths
It seemed only natural that two law firms who shared such similar values would come together out of mutual strengths. Our merger in 2018 meant that we could serve even more of our peers and clients throughout Texas with the shared values that brought us together.
