- Portland, Oregon - Junior Employment Litigation Associate

The Portland, Oregon, office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an employment litigation associate to join our Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1–3 years of experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment and has a growth mindset.
Although we would prefer that you have some experience in employment law, we are also interested in working with attorneys who come to us with excellent skills in any litigation arena. If you have substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, we invite you to apply.
Qualified candidates will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting motions, as well as taking, or helping prepare more senior attorneys to take, depositions. Experience defending depositions is a plus but not required. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be self-starters with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Admission to the Oregon Bar and a JD from an ABA accredited law school are required.
