- Guardianship/Elder Law Associate
Description
A full-service AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Orlando office for a Guardianship Elder Law Associate to focus primarily on complex guardianship planning work for high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of strong guardianship, special needs estate planning experience, Medicaid planning experience, strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Must have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable interacting with clients, be a team player and have strong ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload from start to finish.
Intake and Consultations.
Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings.
Managing clients’ expectations and returning all calls within 24 hours during the week.
Court appearances in the Orlando area and throughout Florida, if necessary.
Networking and building relationships to grow the business.

Requirements
Requirements:
Florida bar license.
Minimum 5-10 years of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning and/or Estate Planning experience. With focus on special needs planning.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow-through.
Exceptional communication skills.
Adapt well to change and maintain a positive attitude under stress.
Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Adherence to our core values.
Litigation experience preferred.
