Civil: The County Attorney’s Office is sponsible for providing legal advice to the County Commissioners, all county departments, and to many of the county’s sub-jurisdictions such as school, fire, conservation, and weed districts. The office also handles contracts, interlocal agreements, legal actions, assists outside agencies such as the Montana Association of Counties, works with various branches of State Government to effectuate positive change, and assists with involuntary commitments for those who are "seriously mentally ill", along with a myriad of other duties and functions.
Outside of the Office: When we are not in the office, we can be found spending time with our families, volunteering for local non-profits, watching a BCHS or UMW game, fishing our blue-ribbon trout waters, trekking through the mountains, playing trivia at the local brewery, or skiing at Maverick Mountain.
