This is an opportunity to join Federated Hermes’ Legal Team and provide legal counsel and support to more senior counsel on investment management matters.
What you will do:
- Provide legal counsel and support to more senior counsel on investment management matters for various Federated Hermes product offerings (Mutual Funds, ETFs, Collective Funds, Private Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Institutional Separate Accounts, Local Government Investment Pools).
- Including support with investment management agreements, Form ADV disclosures, and portfolio transaction matters (e.g., institutional repurchase agreements, derivatives, equity transactions and bond/bank loan restructurings).
- Provide counsel and support to the Procurement business unit and other business units on contract, vendor management matters and other matters.
What we are looking for:
- Juris doctorate and admittance to practice law in the United States required (preferably Pennsylvania)
- Minimum of 1 year of legal experience with Investment Management Firm or Law Firm working with the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, or similar compliance experience required.
- Knowledge of investment company or similar registered securities offerings required.
