Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience in any of the following practice areas: litigation, labor and employment law, land use and zoning, municipal law, or school law. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a team that values integrity, initiative, and growth.
Associates at KTJ handle a diverse range of challenging and meaningful legal matters — no two days are alike. This position offers substantial client contact, mentoring from experienced attorneys, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the firm.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois (required)
- 1–5 years of experience in one or more of the listed practice areas
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to attend in-person meetings and court appearances across Illinois
